Cavs confirm new deal for LeBron James

LeBron James and his new multi-year contract has been made official, with the Cleveland Cavaliers confirming the deal on Friday.
A day after four-time MVP James, 31, revealed his re-signing, NBA champions the Cavs announced the contract.
The new deal is believed to be a three-year, $100million contract that will make the three-time NBA champion - who became a free agent in the off-season after guiding the Cavs to their first title - the highest-paid player with a $31m salary next season.
"We are very fortunate to have a championship group together," said general manager David Griffin of James, who joins Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant as the only players in NBA history to make more than $30m in a season.
