Misbah hails Pakistan recovery

Misbah-ul-Haq praised Pakistan's resilience as they bounced back from defeat at Old Trafford to draw the Test series with England 2-2 at The Oval.
A poor second innings display at Edgbaston allowed England to take a 2-1 lead heading into the final Test, but Pakistan showed their fighting spirit to earn a much-deserved draw.
Misbah's pace attack left England in trouble in the first innings before Younis Khan's sensational double hundred opened up a commanding lead.
That enabled Yasir Shah to leave the hosts in a spin with 5-71 in the second innings, before openers Sami Aslam and Azhar Ali knocked off the 40 runs Pakistan needed for a 10-wicket win.
"It's really tough to recover from those types of defeats [at Old Trafford and Edgbaston] but that shows the character of the team," he said in the post-match presentation.
"We really stood up in this Test match and believed that we could win and level the series. It's really a fabulous performance.
"You are always under pressure against England, until you take the last wicket you know they could put up a fight but the bowlers really did a good job."
The end of the Test series could see Misbah walk away into retirement, but the 42-year-old was guarded on what his future held.
"When the team is playing like that, you really want to play," he told BBC's Test Match Special.
"It's too early to say [about retirement], let's see. I feel good, it's sometimes about how tired you are mentally. But I'm proud to be captain of this team
